I went early due to the travel benefits. I travel heavily and wanted to take advantage of benefits, including international lounges on my last 2 trips.  It was great for that. I've already received the airline reimbursement, etc. Overall, the card really fits my needs. Of course I would have loved to have the 100k MR too.

For others, keep in mind that a cobrand Platinum is a good way to try the perks out while remaining eligible for a better bonus on the proprietary Platinum.

Can you share which cobranded platinum cards you are referring to? I looked into 2 of them but decided against them as I did not have and did not want a financial relationship with either company. But maybe you have info that can help someone else.
