No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
So I went to their "pre qualified link" to see if I qualified for any of their cards.
I did not, but below they said I may be able to get the Amex Plat with a targeted offer of 75k. I applied and was approved.
Now I logged in and it says "no pre set spending limit" does that mean it's unlimited?
Sorry for the noob question
Yes and no. NPSL means there isn't a hard credit limit like a revolver, but there is a soft cap on what you can spend based on your "spending power."
This soft cap is usually fairly low from the beginning and gets better after you can prove you can payoff what you spend. If you hit the soft cap, they will most likely deny the transaction. This keeps people from getting a charge card, spending a million dollars and defaulting.
No, it is not unlimited. Amex adjusts your pre set spending limits based on how much you spend on the card every month.
lol got it.
thanks
