Amex Sign Up Bonus (SUB) Tracker?

Has anyone else recently been approved for an Amex with a SUB and not have any tracker/indicator for it? I confirmed I got the 30,000 points with $6K of spending in 6 months with their customer service but I don't see any sign of it on the website or app. On the other hand, with the WF Propel Amex I have an actual tracker showing me how much of the $1K spend I've put on the card to reach the bonus. Just wondered if anyone else was having this issue. Thanks!

According to TPG and Doctor of Credit it seems to be a very YMMV feature with AMEX whether it's sent to you via email or provided on the main online management page when you login to your account. You can always ask in chat if you need to keep track of your progress

I have not seen a spend tracker for my AMEX cards. I did just have one for the CSP though which was nice.

My spend trackers are my statements and posted transactions. I've never had a tool, or needed one, because I have calculators.

Re: Amex Sign Up Bonus (SUB) Tracker?

Same here. My monthly statment will tell me just how close I am to meeting the SUB, whether it's $1K, $2K or $3K in 3 months etc. And if you've only charged $600 in two months it might be time to reanalyze and speed up the charging.

Then again I stategize, when I app for a SUB with large spend I generally plan it around some upcoming large purchases. Not dink around with and rely totally on weekly grocery or misc. spend.  A tracker says to me the person is only wanting to spend the bare minimum to receive said SUB, which is fine, although seems more like just extra work keeping tabs.

I know it's dumb but figured this is the kind of forum where this kind of point and SUB efficiency would be appreciated Smiley Very Happy Right now I have 6 months to spend $3K on my BCP and 3 months to spend $1K of my WF Propel. I signed up for the BCP on a whim when I got a pre-qual and got excited and I got the Propel for work. I don't do manufacturered spend but I'm sure with Christmas coming up and the fact that I recently got a dog I'll be able to cover them naturally. I'll probably travel at some point in the new year when I can't stand the PNW dark anymore, I'm thinking maybe Vegas or Arizona. I'll just try to time it so I stop the spend at $3K on the BCP and only use it for groceries and other 3% categories after that. I'm kinda juggling here as I have the cashback match getting me 3% on everything on the Discover Miles, too. It's a hobby that other people raise an eyebrow at but it's fun.

Re: Amex Sign Up Bonus (SUB) Tracker?

With the dozen or so Amex cards that I have or manage, I have never seen a tracker or email confirmation about a Welcome Offer or upgrade offer.  As long as you are not crossing over from one year to the next, the YTD spending tab makes it super easy and doesn't require adding previous statements to current spend.  Just be sure to subtract any AFs or ineligible transactions.

Re: Amex Sign Up Bonus (SUB) Tracker?

I wish AMEX would be like Chase and provide a nice little tracker.  Oh well. I'm also working on BCP, and Propel, SUB's. I'm gonna charge $4K in tuition to push them over the threshold. 😊

I apped for Altitude Go. Hoping I get that one too. 🤩

Re: Amex Sign Up Bonus (SUB) Tracker?

I think I've seen them on the right side of the home page of the card, at least with my Hilton (currently, it only shows the free weekend reward spend tracker).

In any case, I'd usually ask them through chat. They could give that figure to you.
