Quick question: I've got 4 accounts with Amex. 3 have been paid/settled, but are CO. Then I paid one in full and got an Optima card, which is current. But NONE of them show up on my Experian report, nor ever have. I guess that's a good thing as far as the CO accounts go, but it's kind of surprising. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Can't really say I'm complaining, though maybe I should now ask Amex to report my current account to EX as that would help me?

3 AMEX accounts here, and they all report to Experian. That would be unusual to say the least. Perhaps you have a split file? Maybe some of our members with knowledge of split files can weigh in on that possibility? Otherwise, a phone call to AMEX might get you some answers.
I'm concerned a phone call to Amex would make them start reporting to EX, which I don't want as long as they are in CO status!
What is a split file?
Every credit report I've gotten, from Amex and even from Experian themselves!, has showed NONE of my Amex accounts. In fact, the ONLY things on my EX file is a judgement from Amex (working to get that deleted) and a $15K limit card with Discover, along with a ton of hard inquiries. But that's it, despite having about 12 accounts. Find it pretty unusual that nothing other than the Discover card is getting reported to them. It's giving me an insanely good score with EX though. I've got a 783 EX score, yet just a 657 EQ score because everything is showing on my EQ report.
