No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Just noticed that my American Express cards now have a link, under "credit management", to "Transfer Available Credit to Another Card".
That's quite a convenience. Without having to speak to a rep, or chat, you can just move limits around.
Oh that is so awesome. I just checked and confirm it is there. Just curious as to why they ask for annual income when you are just trying to move money from one card to another.

Most issuers perform a SP and check your creditworthiness even when just swapping limits. Just how things work. They want to make sure nothing major has changed in your profile.
Thanks for the heads-up SJ but I guess it only works with certain cards. I have HHonors, SPG & Amex green and none of them works. I'm guessing it has to be Amex's own cards and not the cobranded ones?

It works for the cobranded ones as well. My SPG cards are available. Maybe it's the age of your cards.

Irish, thanks for that and all my cards are from 2013. Hmm... I wonder how old they have to be before become eligible.
Thanks for the info! Just as a data point, I have the HHonors Surpass card that is only 3 months old. It had a $7500 limit and I just moved $5500 over to my EDP which is about 7 months old. I used the link under credit management. Everything seemed to take just fine, but it did say it would be 7-10 days to process.

that usually means it didn't work.
When the link is working and when the accounts are eligible similar to Amex cli they will be instant!

It's not the age then because my SPG cards are 'younger' than yours. Puzzling.

Doub't it and the link is there for my Delta Gold. Also, it won't show up for any of the charge cards: Green, PRG, Plat, etc. And I don't think age is a factor because all my cards are from 2015 and 2016.
