So I have a blue cash American Express card with a $1000
a company tried by mistake to charge this card for $1800 Instead of a different card They have on file with a bigger limit
Of course it got declined and I got an email from amex that the charge was over the limit and it's decline
Now my question is did I just ruin my relationship with a Amex for getting credit line increase in future
as I know for return payments for example it's a damage?
Just to add that I have a great history with a Amex I do tons of payments each time I use the card
None of us can speak for Amex but this is nothing like a returned payment.
Personally I would not be at all concerned.
Nah, you're fine.
Nothing to be concerned about.
They declined the charge, Amex won't hold that against you. You're fine.
