Amex payment question

So on my amex i have a$1700 cl..      i have used and paid $3417 on this statement.(1st statement) and there is a $250 af ...can i make a payment over my limit to cover that or wait until the statement..

I know Amex like PIF but is showing a 0 balance on statement better or worse for me score wise? Should i let the statement show a small balance?

Score wise, you want at least one revolving account reporting a small balance. Do you have one?

Re: Amex payment question

As allzero said you always want one account reporting a balance. If you do have a card that is reporting a small balance at least under 30% then yes PIF your other cards is a good idea score wise.
