Hey guys,
I recently linked my bank account to my amex cards to make payments. I submitted a payment to make sure it worked and to see how long it took to post but now I can't make anymore payments to that card. I searched around and saw you can only make 1 payment for the first 30days after linking your bank account. I'm wondering if there is any other way to make a payment since my statement cuts on the 11th and I don't want the card to report a balance. Also from your experiences how long does it usually take for them to start reporting to the CRBs?

I'm not sure on first 30 days... but in future once 1 payment clears if you have a balance and want to pay, you can schedule another...
otherwise just set it up on your bank bill pay and send the payment to them and you get around all that.
the fantastic thing about doing payments with them directly is they post instantly for available credit!
not sure aabout reporting...

I saw the instant credit when I made my first payment which I thought was awesome! I wish I would of known about the 1 payment thing in the first place otherwise I would have waited to make a payment. Now when I go in it just says no payment is due at this time, if I submit a payment through bill pay how long does it usually take for amex to reflect that payment?
Thanks for the info! I'm going to set it up on billpay and see if it posts before the 11th.
