Amex prepaid card (not PASS)

Interesting that there are no foreign transaction fees with this 'card'.

Theres a whole page about it here:

Re: Amex prepaid card (not PASS)

AMEX should have come up with a credit builder card or even a secured card. This would have gotten them more customers. This one is a prepaid card that has no contribution whatsoever to someone's credit.

They go either prime cards or prepaid card. How about something in between?

Amex prepaids are pretty bad...Western Union prepaid is a better choice.

There are various ways to load the card.  If you use your AmEx card or bank account to load, there are no fees.  If you use a "Money Pak" then there is a fee included in the purchase price.  I think AmEx says they will even refund that fee.
