Amex recon

Does Amex have a backdoor number or any number for that matter for recon?

yep I had checked there and below is all that was listed and neither sound like a recon number

AmEx Oasis Program: 888-232-3261

American Express Credit Bureau Unit:  800-874-2717.  Must have a current credit report before calling.  They will ask for the account number from the credit report, which is different from your card number

I am decently sure the CB Unit number is recon.

CBU is really more for how accounts are reporting to CRA's...you would need to speak w/ someone in New Accounts for the application status but there really isn't alot of reconing going on w/ AMEX. You might hear of a sucess story once in a while but its def not Barclays.

Here is the number for the recon for amex it goes to underwriter but they are rude!  800-952-7562 good luck.
