what are everyone's opinions on the serve? how long have you used it, does it work well? I know its a prepaid product but it seems to offer benefits like online bill pay, check deposit, and cash reload. do all of these work smoothly, what are the load times like? Though I have several credit cards the idea of not having to play utilization games is kind of appealing.
i don't really see the point to it if you have credit and if you have bank accounts and you are not trying to MS.

How are you planning to load it! That puts utilization on your other cards.
i was thinking everyday spend but seperate from bank account. instead of putting everyday spend on credit cards and having to pay by a certain date. sure its similar to a debit card but i like the idea of spening money being seperate (if fraud charges or merchant puts through wrong amount the bulk of your funds are not at risk). and i think theres a small psycological effect that we tend to spend more when swiping credit and are more reserved with debit.
OK. It's not a debit card, so has to be loaded, but you could do that from a bank account if that is what you want.
But for most using it for this seems too much work. It's good for the unbanked/underbanked and for MS.
It use of r me is paying for bills you can't normally pay with credit card or things that charge service fee for using credit card

Yes, covered under the MS category.
I used it a short while. The main pain was having to loadcit. Overall it was decent.
I was using it just fine and now I can't do the online load with my chase ink. When I called serve the rep is claiming that chase is declining the transaction. Never had any problems loading in the past and there doesn't appear to be a problem with my ink card when I check the account online or pay my phone bill. I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to call chase and ask.

It would be a bad idea to use Ink to load Serve in the first place. Ink is a business card. No matter how you look at it using it to load personal prepaid card doesn't count as business expense.
