I believe I saw a thread a few weeks ago about this as well. Just wondering if some of you are still finding that Amex is not updating to the CRA's?
I have two Amex cards. My Optima account has not reporting since March (nearly 4 months). My ED card has not reported since May 20th. Typically it would have then reported on our about June 20th, however that did not happen.
Any ideas why such long lags in Amex reporting these days?
Ya was my thread.. They finally reported my May, but not June payments.. So only one month behind now.. Still behind though! Not sure what is up with them, usually they report 2-3 days after statement cut.
Have no clue what is taking Amex so long to report these days for.. Called their Credit Reporting center and they said they reported, yet they didn't.. They basically said all is normal, which clearly it isn't with them for whatever reason.

Is there a best path to get this corrected? I am seeing this with Amex, Wells, and Chase.

Well one is blaming the other I am sure as Amex in my case said they reported, but you you call the CRA they will say they provide accurate information on what was provided by the creditor so it is a loop type of scenario! Very annoying.. Haven't had this issue with Chase, and don't have a WF.. My suggestion if you are having an isssue is call each credit and ask them to manually push a reporting to the CRA and see if they will.. Usually paying Chase off mid cycle will force them to report as they are cool enough to report if you have 0 balance between normal reporting

no idea why but they finally started to report. even finally updated my fico score. after my denial of course for a cli. arggg
my account that I opened may27th still hasnt reported. Not even the open tradeline. No balance, nothing. Just have 1 experian inquiry.
I opened my SPG Amex on May 9th and it still hasn't reported. Good to know it's not just me but it is weird. I opened my Delta Amex on May 2nd though and it started reporting last week, so hopefully the SPG isn't too far behind...
