I have been waiting patiently to hit the credit limit increase request button on my AMEX Delta at the 91 days. I was denied the 61 day increase so I am hoping to have a little luck this go round. Well I was advised by someone on the forum to wait until AMEX had update my score on their site and although it has been 6 days since my statement cut, my score has not updated. What gives??? I mistakenly overpaid my balance by a penny and I am starting to wonder if that is the reason why. It should not take this long to update my score. ![]()

@Anonymous i was denied for my 3x at 61 days, but then on day 91 (or right around there), i was approved for 3x. I didn't wait for my score to update, nor did i even think about it.
I doubt the negative balance has anything to do with it; updated FICO scores on AMEX's website seem to appear on random days. This year mine has updated on the 25th, 22nd, back to the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 15th, 12th, and 13th. I've not had a score update yet this month.

You might be on to something but I just wanted to better my chances this go around by making sure that they had my updated score in their system before I hit the button. My score only increased a couple of points but every little bit helps, right?

I find they dont always update on the dime, er, excuse me, the pennyI know thats frustrating but if they give you the increase after the update, all will be as it should be
Yes, I should just be patient. Soooo hard for a person like me.

That's good to know. My last few updates have all been close to the same day if not on the same day so I assumed that this month would be no different. I'll keep that in mind.
What is your score now?
