What is the lowest score Bank of America will accept and still grant you a secured credit card?

Before I apply and have my credit pulled, do you think they will grant me with a fico of 571 (equifax) and say a $500 deposit?

BOA has pulled Experian on me for everything, tho I have heard tell that some folks have had them pull TU. You might want to check that EX score if your going to app with BOA

I hear tell that if you just apply for a BOA card and get turned down they will counter offer a 99/500 card. Do a quick search on the boards for 99/500 and you'll get a bunch of hits explaining all about this card.

It's handy to know your FICO scores before you app. Sometimes there's a big difference among EQ - EX - TU, even when you're looking at all FICO scores. If your EX score is a lot lower than the EQ for some reason, you might save yourself a wasted inq. If it's higher, there might be some more options for you out there.

Be sure to use a discount code, no matter how many scores you're pulling. There's a new poster giving this one: FICO6090 (no spaces, all caps) You can also Google them.

They pulled Experian for me too.

EXP for me too.

In late Sept, I applied for their Visa Platinum Plus. Denied. But they counter offered with their partial secured Visa Platinum, the 99/500 one, and got accepted.

I THINK these were approximately, maybe, perhaps my scores at the time of app'ing:

9/14/07
TU: 676
EXP: 665
EQ: ?

I agree with the others and BoA will probably yank your EX score. Most apply for the Visa Plat and if you don't qualify, BoA might offer you their secured card 99/500.
