This is actually perfectly representative if all inq are on 1 report.. Anyone who pulls the other 2 will be getting the less representative picture.
This is overblown anyway, inq only count up to a certain number after that no additional fico effects are seen. New accounts will continue to ding though. If you have a good profile inq will not stop approvals (see Ron1).
Do you have a source for that?

Again. I disagree.

My score stopped dropping once my INQ's got past 8. Maybe it's the lower overall UTL compensating though!
YMMV.
OP
if not for all Chase double pulls I would be in the same situation like you but like this EX and EQ are pretty equally filled with Chase pulls. For CLI Discover would be flexible as they offered me the CRA of my choice but I preferred to wait for a SP CLI instead. Barclays is a TU puller and CLI with BofA are TU...that is how I leveled out ..lol
The deep freezer is a great place for EXP
After NFCU pulls recently, my EQ got tossed in there alongside my EXP!

EQ needs not be frozen if you're savvy.

@NRB525 wrote:OP, can you update your siggy with which cards you have and perhaps their age? And for clarification (maybe I missed the comment) are you getting denials, and then is it because of the number of inquiries, or you're just concerned about the number in general?
I never got a denial. Was just generally concerned about the number in general. I make quite a bit of money from credit card rewards lately, so a denial would have a pretty high opportunity cost.

Not on this post as it is....."borderline unethical"?
There are plenty of reading materials on it though on sites like CB.

I would put it this way: borderline unethical.
