Anyone get the CFF 5% most used bonus category?

My statement doesn't cut until mid month. Curious if others got the bonus.

Nope, not yet. Great question though. I'm sure we'll get it eventually.

@Yankee2 Chase said we'll be able to see the bonus in our rewards portal in eight weeks (after Dec. 31).

Re: Anyone get the CFF 5% most used bonus category?

O/T but this thread made me look at my account and to my HORROR I discovered I hadn't activated this quarter.  Reading the FAQ, it suggests that if you activate before mid-March, they will backdate and give you 5% on all category purchases that quarter.  (I've spent about $25 so a whole $1 is at stake!)   Have people experienced this backdating?

Heads up for everyone - it appears based on what I saw in my account this morning (Tuesday 1/25) and some comments I saw on Reddit, it appears the 4% bonus for the biggest, eligible Q4 2021 spending category has posted in many people's Chase Ultimate Rewards accounts, including my own.  Check your Chase account for more information.

Playing the credit card rewards game since early May 2020.

Current credit cards:
American Express: Hilton Honors
Bank of America: Customized Cash Rewards Visa
Capital One: SavorOne MC
Chase: Amazon Visa, Freedom Unlimited Visa, Freedom Flex MC
Citi: Sears/ThankYou Rewards MC, My Best Buy Visa, Custom Cash MC
Comenity: AAA Travel Advantage Visa
Discover: Cash It
Elan: S&T Bank Max Cash Preferred Visa
FNBO: Amtrak Guest Rewards MC
PSECU: Founder's Visa
U.S. Bank: Cash+ Visa
Wells Fargo: Autograph Visa
Store cards: Kohl's

Next target credit cards: Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard (probably), Truist Enjoy Travel Visa (maybe)

What is the wording on the statement?   I just got my statement and don't see it, but....   When I was moving the points to my CSR, I saw "5XX points on next statement" which usually shows 0 at this point as the statement has just closed.

You might be able to see your UR for your next statement by doing the following

  1. Log into your Chase CC account on computer
  2. Click the ">" symbol next to your Rewards summary to enter UR.
  3. In the top left corner, it might say +XXXX points with your next statement.  At least, it does for me.

Re: Anyone get the CFF 5% most used bonus category?

I might be able to figure it out once I do some math. So it doesn't show as it's own category? I'll need to go back to my December transactions (when I got the card), multiply my total grocery amount by four (tmy high-spend category), and add that to all my current pending transaction points to see if it adds up. Is that the right way to go about that, math-wise?
