As the title suggests, are there any Visa/MC "rebuilders or no credit history" offerings that fall between QS1 and the high fee Sub Prime crew, which are NOT attached to a CU?
Discover might fit the description, but I consider it at least to be at QS1 level (and not a Visa/MC ) . Any others? AF is ok, but not a $99 AF ...
Check to see if the prequal for the Cap1 Plat is available. If so. Its easier to upgrade to the QS and no annual fee. QS1 is hard to do anything with but pay $39 a year for a card.
Maybe a co-branded card. When I was re-building Comenity was doing SP's and I was able to get the Sportsmans Guide Visa and the now defunct Fuel Rewards MC. You may wish to give the SCT a try to see if anything pops up.

The SCT is dead as of Sept last year. Any SCT from Comenity is a HP now.
The Capital One Platinum is a good option. I got it unsecured as my first card and no AF.
I should have been more clear and said "other than any Cap1 card".

I don't think SCT exists anymore.
Well with your scores your kinda limited on what your looking for. Cap1 might be your only choice without knowing your past credit history. Once you get in the 650+ range that will open more doors.
The question was partially academic and not entirely for me. I have 4 open revolvers and don't really need another. If I did, it wouldn't be a C1.
It's interesting that this niche is not too well served beyond Cap1. Although I guess the market knows what the demand is better than I do.
With all due respect. If you laid it all out in the begining then we can help you out more. But it still comes down to the scores if they are FICO. There's also a reason with 4 cards why your in the 500's. Were here to help anyone, at any time. Thats all. Just by your scores or whoever scores your helping out. Cards your looking for would be more than likely in the secured market for now.
