You're all kind and informative.  

Perhaps I will wait, but not sure on which cards.  I will be traveling a lot next year and really at least want a few good travel cards .. VENTURE1 is the one I received, sorry to misclarify.  

I like the idea you presented in the chart!  Although 29% overall UTIL isnt bad at all either.  I will see what I decide, but definitely waiting until all UTILs update.  As a side note, all cards except CapOne (3-4 mos) are about a year old, or more.  INQ on EXP are 5 since February (2 of these are just to open a checking acct).  13 total.  Thank you for all your help.

You said it yourself. You are traveling next year. That means at the very least you can wait until January to app for anything. Its only a few months and I promise it will benefit you

OP while 660 is a pretty good score, it's still far from ideal. I strongly urge you to hold off and garden for at least a few more months. Trust me, it'll be worth it. I've been in the garden a couple of months and it's paid off tremendously. As my accounts and inquiries age and I pay down some debt, my scores continue to rise. I've broken 700 on two out of three bureaus, with only EX lagging behind, but I'm confident that will hit 700 soon as well. Just be patient.

Since OP is still rebuilding it would be a shame for them to fall into the same habits as before and end up in the hole. OP your profile is fragile at best and you need to take this slowly. A spree is about the worst thing you can do. It will end up with just a ton of wasted inquiries and make you appear desperate for credit. Your posts do read a bit with that desperation, so I really hope you can reign it in.

A "travel card" means squat if you go into debt while getting it.
