App'ing is addictive

In the last two days I applied online for the Citibank Shell card and Barclays Rewards card. Citi's message says we'll let you know in 30 days and Barclay says 10 days.

That's 8 HP since July 2012. I have to garden until summer of 2015 no matter what the out come.

Re: App'ing is addictive

Call Barclays and get their decision. If necessary be prepared to recon the denial. Citi is another story.

Good luck!

Re: App'ing is addictive

I would agree with you about addiction. I got approved for Chase last month after recon and once approved I applied for capital one card. Again approved after recon. Now planning to garden till end of year to build one year of credit history and get cards with good limits. Hopefully Chase and CapOne would be generous in cuto cli during next 8 months.

Oh I love fillin out apps! The best part is when you finally get some instant approvals instead of these 7 to 10 day deals! I agree that it's time to garden and let your inquiries fall and take care of some issue! It definitely takes some self control though!!

Re: App'ing is addictive

I mistaking made a payment to midland in 2011. Then I see on my most recent CR that they took six dollars fron another account I have with them and applied it to the CapOne collections. That was last month. So it will be sometime before it falls off.

Re: App'ing is addictive

Use your time in the garden to take care of your baddies. Once you've done that you'll be fine.
