Apple Card CLI 180 days or more?

My last credit line increase for the Apple Card was on January 8. Yesterday made 180 days. I tried and received this message -

Your credit limit couldn't be increased at this time because:

- You recently received a credit limit increase on Apple Card on 2025-01-08. Please wait at least 180 days from your last increase to request a new one.

Also tried this morning (181 days). I received the same message. Am I missing something?

I kept getting that reason too beyond 180 days, it took like until day 190 before they would spit out a not 180 day reason

I tried again this morning, day 183. I thought it was a sure thing until I received this message -

Your credit limit couldn't be increased at this time because:

- You have not used and paid enough of your Apple Card credit limit since your last credit limit increase.

I don't need a CLI from them but I want to improve it's $6500 limit so I'm going to shift some monthly spending to this card. It's my current goal Smiley Happy

You need more than $6,500? I sincerely don't understand the CLI infatuation on this forum. This is where I deviate from my fellow mF friends. I've asked for a CLI once in my life - my $5,000 AOD - because there were a few times I would need more than $5,000 in a month. Otherwise, I take and keep the CL I am given upon approval, which is always enough for my spend. Smiley Happy

How do you request a CLI? I can't find a link on the wallet app.

I don't need more than $6500 but I want it. My credit goal is to increase my available credit either through new cards which I only apply for once in awhile or CLIs. Some cards will grow and some won't. I'd like to see this card get into the $7500 - $10,000 range. If I had to have a reason besides I want higher limits, it would be for utilization. Most of the time I just have one card reporting a balance but once in a great while I let some balances report for a month. Rather not have a score hit for high utilization.
