Right, and as mentioned in other threads, each issuer has a schedule for how prime rate adjustments are applied. Chase for example looks at the prime rate towards the end of the month, so if your statement cuts just before you will wait a month, if it cuts soon after you will think "Chase is SO quick!"
And, BTW, it's "per se"!
Just noticed my APR was lowered from 12.49% to 10.99%, too. However, none of my other cards have decreased yet.
