I applied while on my android phone, but I believe I had to sign into my Apple ID. After I was approved, I grabbed my old iPhone 6 that I keep on my desk a few days later and was able to add the card to my Wallet and see my CL and balance. From there, I requested for the physical card to be ordered and shipped.
Ok, that's progress, and congrats on the approval. However you still needed a compatible iPhone to seal the deal.
Anyone not have any iPhone or iPad and get the Apple Card?
I have an apple card , I do not own apple device I got approved on their site . Accepted it . Used my sons I phone to order the physical card and I pay on their website portal. I'll be honest I just wanted the metal card to have the metal card haha . But I do use it from time to time . And put him as authorized user so he can buy on the app store or his PlayStation . Have no plans to ever get an iPhone . If you ever so want a physical card you need an iPhone or iPad to at least order the card but after that you don't need it unless you shop at the few places they offer 3% at .
Ok, that doesn't show my theory is incorrect. One really does need an iPhone or iPad to get the Apple Card. Having a trusted son merely fills in as a proxy for the Apple device ![]()

You can use the card at apple only with an apple device . But to get that physical card or the card number to use online yes you need an apple device for a couple mins . But if you only ever wanted to shop at apple.com you could not ever have one .

I think what @NRB525 was emphasizing that in order to get the piece of metal in the mail, an Apple device of some sort would be needed. We understand that anything else doesn't require it.
Yes correct that's what I said . Did someone need clarification ?
