I just received my new United MileagePlus Explorer card yesterday and called in today to add an AU (5000 extra miles!). I asked how long you have to wait in between applications with Chase. She said you could do it immediately, without a wait, but it would be another HP. I asked her if they could just use the report from 2 weeks ago with the United app. She put me on hold and came back telling me no, it would still be a HP. I tried to apply with her but she said you could only do it online. I got the 10-30 day message which I'm very familiar with!!
Right now I have the Freedom and United card so this would be a killer addition to that as far as URs. Like the last 2, I'll probably be declined and have to recon AGAIN! Sigh... On the bright side, online after the app they offered $150 for the Chase checking so I bit that since there's a Chase branch right in my town. I want the ultimate combo I keep reading about! Even if I'm denied the CSP, I'll keep the $150. Details for checking below...(I'm hoping there's no HP for the account but wouldn't doubt if there was).
Darn, just saw the $200 - guess I'll try that instead. I need to read the difference, if there is one, with the checking account.

Congratulations and I hope you get the chase sapphire preferred, there is one question I am wondering for myself maybe you have an answer do you need to have a chase bank in your state in order to get a chase checking?
Grats on the Chase Checking Awesome combo.
Just remember that come January, you'll have a 1099 coming your way ;-)
I honestly don't know if you have to live in a state that has Chase branches. I could ask them in a secured message?

I know...haha, of course! I'm sure they wouldn't have it any other way.
