Apply while in dispute

I was going to dispute an old collection but I also was looking to apply for a credit card? 

Is that an issue? Wasn't sure if disputing perhaps blocks the report access for the company.

No, the dispute shouldn't block access to the report by the company.

Disputing won't block your reports but if there's a chance that you score will go up if the item in quesiton is deleted then it may be worth the wait don't you think?
