Congrats!  I was approved for a very small limit while making a purchase at Amazon.com in 2008.  I received the $30 credit that Amazon gave at the time. I'm not sure if they still do that.  The card is backed by Chase.  I closed the account back in May.  I hope you enjoy the card.  It was worthless to me after I received the cash credit.

Congrats! I got the store card in January and have received 2 increases since then. Both were initiated by me but neither resulted in a hard pull. I have 2 GE cards and have had no problem whatsoever with them.

congrats!  they just updated the web site a few weeks ago and it is much better/more user friendly.
nice starting cl for that card.

my ge amazon store card was approved at 400 and 4 cli and about  20 months later it sits at 1225.  offers some good promos and as an avid fan of amazon it was a good pick (i also have the chase amazon visa that Dl mentions in PP but is a different card/issuer than the subject of OP.)

Thanks for the info!  I didn't know there were two different Amazon cards backed by different banks.  Well I learnt something new today.  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Approved For Amazon Store Card

**bleep**, what happened to my reading comprehension? I just saw GE was the bank. I thought this card was only issued by chase, thats why I mentioned the freedom card. Im not a  loon yet!

I wonder which card I should try for, there is still a chase amazon as well. I would like a CL of at least $1500.

My understanding is that there is an Amazon Visa card issued by Chase and there is an Amazon store card (only able to use on Amazon) issued by GEMB.
