Congratulations!  I PC'd from the Slate MasterCard to the Freedom, and they kept my APR at 9.99%.  It's my card with the lowest interest rate.  My son is on it as an AU, using it for his business expenses and he has been racking up the points for me.  He's put $5K on it in the last three weeks.

I'm sure I can do that kind of charging in less time if given the oppurtunity to be an AU on your account.  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Approved For Chase Freedom

Congrats!  Chase is the last card that I have to get.  I once had an Amazon card backed by Chase but closed it.   Back in 2009, I apped for a Chase card and  got declined for too many inquiries.  I requested a recon and got approved for $5000.  The very same day, I had to call back for some reason.  I spoke with a different analyst and they cancelled the approval for too many inquiries.

I'm sure if I app now, I'll get approved.  But now, I don't want my AAoAs to take a hit until I get the U.S. Bank mess cleared up.

Re: Approved For Chase Freedom

I think you will probably have to register your card for banking online, but after that, it should.

I don't have a checking/savings acct with Chase, so I can't tell you for sure, but 9 times out of 10, all the banking online stuff is in the same place.

Yes, it will.

I had a Checking account, and my mortgage and subsequent Freedom and MileagePlus cards showed up without me doing anything.
