FixedMyCredit1992...you said you make $600/month? Is there anyway you could pick up another part-time job...for at least a few months?

@Anonymous wrote:1. Why don't you spend the money to get 1 Fico score... I would get EQ or TU since I know more mid level prime banks that will pull those. Might be surprised how FAR off it is compared to your fako's
2. How old are the 3 accounts you list in your sigi?
My oldest account is fingerhut from October, however most of the lenders I talked to said it does not count because it's an installment loan and not a CC.
The oldest "card" is Wells Fargo from December.
I cannot get a fico due to the fact my TL's are not old enough.
then your Fako's are really worthless... banks pull fico and if you have no report generating yet you are just throwing INQ's down the toilet... you have to sit for 6 months and let a Fico generate... then you can go off and running!
Many banks don't pull the Ficos that are for sale here. Save your money, let your accounts age and monitor your CR. If you clear up your credit report I guarantee you your CS goes up. Also you should have gotten a score (fico or internal) from the lender who rejected you. Compare that score to your Fako. If you want to see the discrepancy.

OP, if you spent the amount of energy that you spend on this forum trying to get convince everyone (including yourself) that you should be applying for new credit into a) Looking for better employment, b) just doing door-to-door sales c) Learning a new skill (and not necessarily through a University), you'd be making 6 figures in a matter of years.
I like you because it sounds like you really want to better yourself and you're looking for the best way possible to do it. But please, take the advice of the others in this thread. Not just about applying for new credit (because I think you realize that won't get you very far), but also about running up a bunch of credit card bills in the hopes of being to pay them off with a better job sometime in the future. I'd personally rather take my life savings and put it on black in vegas than try that strategy, because honestly, I think roulette would have better odds.
Even at minimum wage, you shoud be able to pick up 2-3 jobs, bust your tail for 60+ hours a week for just a few months and save up enough to move a few hundred miles.
