What is the age a person has to be to become a authorize user on a credit card account?
I know the rules has changed about piggybacking, but i want to still try to give my young boys a leg up on this credit game.
my boys are 8 and 9, should i still try to put them thourgh online?

Someone more qualified may be able to answer if there is an age requirement. I have added my daughter onto my cards and all they asked was for her SS#. They never asked for her age.
At 8 & 9, I hope you don't plan to hand out those cards to them, LOL. Seriiously, I only let my daughter have one of her AU cards at a time. Even if she is responsible, all I need is for her to have her purse stolen!

Lol, not that old and crazy yet!
I will just cut those cards up.
I did try Amex already, and it does have a birthday box. Thx
LOL, I figured as much. Haha
Did Amex allow you to add them? I should remember including the birthdate since I just applied for my card and added her....but my memory is pretty short term apparently.

I did not try yet, was trying to get feedback first.
I'll try Amex first, will keep you posted
FYI, AMEX requires the authorized user to be at least 15 years old!
