Authorized user on Amex with my own card! With this help me get a card?

So I'm 7 months out of Chapter 7 BK! I have 3 credit cards 2 with zero used and paid on time of course! And one with a maxed balance but never missing a payment. Recently my partner added me onto her AMEX Prem Gold card which I have my own card, login and upon adding me they needed my SSN, BDay and address. So recently I applied for a Ameican Express everyday blue card and was denied and the reason it gave me was my Ch 7 BK reporting so I called the recon line and she resubmitted for approval, since they have all my info tied to an AMEX gold card that's in great standing do you think I will have a chance? SOMEONE HELP ME!!

Amex needs ssn to become an auth user. It doesn't mean its your account. I have seen amex downgrading an app and approving for ED card, which in your case work nice with a MR points account.

They won't approve it.  Being an AU will not get you in.  AMEX used to refuse to issue a card for the full 10 years the BK reports.  They recently loosened up and will let people get a card five years post filing, but only if they were not included in your bankruptcy.  You obviously did not include them or they would not have allowed you to be an authorized user
