Interesting....thanks for sharing that
You're welcome!

Interesting read re:ChargeSmart. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it would be worth the trouble for most people, unless you were desperate to reach a minimum spend and didn't mind paying a net fee.
I completely agree. I just wanted to share that there are other options available.

NMAC accepts BillPay CC payments but will cost you in the range of $15 to process. I started a thread on this a while back but I quickly found out that it wouldn't make since because the cashback would be wiped out by the $15 fee which is most likely the case in many of these instances.
When I had an auto loan with Santander, they used to let me pay the monthly bill with Credit Card. But when I went to pay off the loan, they said they will only accept money order. So yes to pay off a credit account, we cannot use another credit account.

Thats to bad charge smarts' fee is so high. My card payment would cost $17.99 fee to send to Wells Fargo Dealer Svc, and using Fidelity Amex thats only $11.xx back
I work for the third party that does Nissan Infiniti's bill payments. The payment system that is used is our product.
The fee is indeed $14.95, but this sort of payment is usually reserved for the desperate. The people who are calling in are usually emotionally compromised and are either 1) getting ready to have their car repo'd, credit report tainted, or 2) getting ready to have their electricity shut off or are already sitting in the dark. Thankfully, I work in a different department, but it has been said many a times that the guys who take those calls deserve more money.
And the occasional happy person that is about to satiisfy their minimum spend? haha
