Auto Pay statement balance

Right now, on all my credit cards, everything is in AutoPay, paying full statement balance on the due date. But I saw that it's possible to set it up 1 or more days before the due date. It never happened to me that Autopay failed to work. Should I leave it like that, or should I set it up 1 day before the due date, or more days before the due date?

You should be fine with autopay set for your due date, especially if you’re paying your full statement balance each month.
