I dont know where to post this but here it goes...
So lately is difficult to keep track of various credit cards that I have (7 in total) I always login weekly to see all the credit charges to look for fraudulent charged etc. I put notifications on calendar and cell phone a week before every due date of the CC and I always pay in full each month a week before. But I started wondering a case in someday I forgot one payment or something happens that I'm unable to make a payment and for that a get a bad credit report markup etc.
So I was thinking if setting up an autopay on all CC 2 days before the due date in case I forget to pay them. My doubts are into 2 scenarios:
Scenario 1:
Let's say I have $100 due with $25 minimum and I pay $60 and the minimum is set to auto pay, does the system knows that I have paid a balance and it doesn't make the autopayment or it still does it?
Scenario 2:
Let's say I have $100 due and paid in full. The autopay detects it and it doesn't autopay for the current bill?
Thanks for the advice!
