Hi,
Signed up for an Avant 2% card. Got the max initial CL of $3,000. Anyone successfully grown it beyond $3,000?
Hello. I have personally never seen a CL larger than 3k with Avant..... That doesn't mean it isn't possible, but based on what I have seen and read at this time, they do not generally go above 3k.
If anyone has ever gone above 3k with this card please post a reply with details. Thank you.
Hey there,
I started with $3k in March 2024 and have received two automatic increases since. My credit limit is $4k now.
Good luck!
I was approved about a year ago for $2000 then asked for a CLI six months in and there was a glitch and their system said it had to go for manual review. A couple of days later it was bumped to $2500. Since then I've asked for CLIs twice and gotten denied each time. I've read that they only go to $3000 but I guess that's not true.
Anyway I'm pretty annoyed. It can be turned into a 3% (actually 2.98%) catch-all cash-back card by paying with a 1% back debit card but the tiny limits make the card kind of lame.
did you have to reapply for the 2% card? I have the 1%, called in and asked for a product change to the 2% cash back card, they told me that i would have to cancel the card, wait 8 days, then reapply. When I asked what some of the requirements are for the 2% the rep told me he wasnt "privy" to that information. lol some of these companies have a terrible reputation for good reason.
I think you're better off graduating to Wells Fargo Active Cash/TD Double Cash.
