Ok I went to make my payment this morning and apparently I can only pay through my BECU checking/saving account?? I swore I made payments directly from my external account, but it is not giving me that option. So I had to transfer from my external account to my BECU account and once that clears I can make a payment. I just got statement so I have plenty of time, however I don't not for the life of me remember having to do this before.
Any insight would be appreciated, and if this is how it is, this card is going in the drawer SMH................................
I use my bank's bill pay service to make my payment to BECU. To make it easier to remember, I do this at the beginning of each month.
I have allways had to transfer money into my
BECU checking account from my extrnal account
for a payment. They like to keep things in house for sure,
Good Luck @Jnbmom :-)

I've never seen an option to pay them directly with external accounts.
thanks I guess I paid it that way before just don't remember as I don't keep much in it at all after my fiasco with them lol
This is my only gripe about my CC with them. I spend less than $8 a month on this card. LOL. Usually my EBates big fat check deposit is enough to cover for several months.
I don't have a BECU credit card, but is your credit card account not listed as one of the eligible "To" accounts under External Transfers?

In my experience most credit unions have worked that way where you can only select other CU accounts on a credit card's payment page, but you can always initiate an external transfer to any account. NFCU and PenFed fortunately don't make it that cumbersome.
My main bank gives me one of those transfers a month without fees. I pay all of my bills on the first and would have plenty of time for the money to show up but it's not any fun to go through two steps to pay a CC.
