Alright.. I was approved earlier today and it has been almost 4 hours, still nothing there.. So yes, they seems to be slow unlike Chase and others where accounts shows up almost instantly as soon application is approved.

BoA, along with my Merrill+, show up the morning after the application. Their systems update overnight and typically should show around 5a, EST.

Now that CL on my Cash Rewards has increased to 5.5k. Can I call BOA and ask for upgrading my Visa to Visa Signature card? And if yes does it change the Card Number, expiration etc.?

You can call in and request the upgrade. It won't change the account number or the expiration date. It will take 2-4 weeks to process but it is easy. You can use your current card until your new card arrives.

My pleasure! If you also needed it, you could even convert to a World Mastercard. I ended up doing this because my town hall won't take Visa cards and I didn't have a Mastercard at the time. Different benefits but same reward structure.

Thanks for the tip.. actually I already have 2 World Elite Mastercard (Citi ThankYou Premier and Barclay Arrival+), 1 Visa Signature (Chase FU), 1 Visa Infinite (CSR) so I think it really doesn't matter which one should I get. But definitely I hate that Platinum Plus card in my wallet
