BOA Removing Cash Privileges CC

Does any one noticed that BOA has removed the above card from their website.

I guess you can still Google and get a Application link and apply for this card. But this is no more shown in their website now.

FYI

Re: BOA Removing Cash Privileges CC

I know they're reducing the minimum balance from $50k to $20k in order to be a platinum privileges customer. Maybe that has something to do with that.

Re: BOA Removing Cash Privileges CC

BOA is doing away with Platinum Privileges.  Platinum Priviliges is being replaced with Preferred Rewards.  They have started rolling out the new program in some states and I beleive it should be rolled out in all states by 9/2014.  The new program is a 3 tier program--Gold (20 - 50K balance), Platinum (50 - 100K) and Platinum Honors (100K+).

Unfortunately, the Priviliges card is not eligible for bonuses in the new program--

Rewards bonus will vary based on the type of rewards program you have on your credit card account..  Customers who currently have a BankAmericard Cash Rewards™ credit card and receive a bonus for redeeming their rewards into a Bank of America checking or savings account or a Merrill Lynch Cash Management Account will receive the Preferred Rewards bonus percentage on such redemptions instead of their existing bonus. Points programs and other cash rewards cards will receive the bonus earn based on their monthly base rewards earned. The following types of cards are not eligible to receive the Preferred Rewards credit card bonus: BankAmericard Privileges (including those with Cash Rewards and Travel Rewards), Bank of America Accolades (including U.S. Trust branded Accolades), Better Balance Rewards™, all credit cards carrying the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management brand, Perks Advantage , airline, cruise and certain other third party rewards and all non-rewards cards. Re: BOA Removing Cash Privileges CC

If you want to view the details for the new program; clear your browser history and cache.  Thereafter, go to the BOA website and when it asks for your state, select South Carolina.  The program has been fully implemented in SC.

From there - you can find more information on the Preferred Rewards Program.  The preferred card for the new program will be the Cash Rewards card.
