BT now or wait

How often does Discover and US Bank offer a BT for existing card holders?  Now US Bank is offering 7.9 for 12 months and Discover is offering 5% for 12 months. I need a BT by August for 2000 should I just stay where I'm at and wait four months for another BT offer or take one of these offers now. My 2000 debt is sitting on a 0 BT until August?

I would wait, you may get an offer from Slate, which is offering 0% and 0 transfer free for 15 months.

Re: BT now or wait

I have to use Discover or US Bank because I already have cards with them. My scores are low and I have high utilization and inquiries.
