I recently consolidated most of my debt into a personal loan but I still have a $5000 balance on my Citi Costco card reporting a high utilization. Looking to find a card with a long intro 0% period to pay it off interest free.
Data Points
I am considering applying for one of the following:
Wondering if there are any other non Citibank BT cards out outside of my list there I may not be aware of? Of the FI I listed I have long existing relationships with BoA, Discover and US Bank.
My preference would be to apply for the US Bank Visa Platinum but I’m worried my scores might be a bit too low but perhaps my existing relationship would help offset that a bit? Also know they can be conservative with credit limits. I haven’t applied for a credit card with them since 2016 so I’m unclear what their standards are these days. Feel like I would have a good chance for the the BoA BankAmericard but don’t feel great about my odds with Wells Fargo (no previous relationship) and have no idea with PenFed (DP for being approved for this card seem to be all over the place). Obviously my fallback options are the Discover and FNBO which I’m already pre-qualified for.

Of those listed, I think that Discover is your best option.
Is Navy Federal an option for you? A Navy Platinum card will come with a 0% for 12 months BT offer with no BT fee...
Truist Future card (if you're in their service area) has (or at least it did when I got mine back in March) a 0% APR BT for 15 months with small BT fee

Navy Federal not an option unfortunately.

Discover IT is a good choice. Chase has a couple as well, the Chase Freedom Unlimited and Chase Slate Edge.

What makes Discover unique is they continually issue BT offers. The other O% APR cards are okay if long term they also have a good rewards structure.
Citi also tends to run BT offers fairly regularly on its accounts though with not as good terms as Discover. Their ecosystem has pretty good cash back rates.
Another thing to consider is getting in with a new issuer is a slower process than existing. This is why I just apped for another Discover and Citi that helps my rewards ecosystem rather than exploring another issuer.
US Bank currently has the best two I've seen:
The Platinum, while offering no other real inspiring benefits, currently has a 24-month 0% offer. I think that's going to be hard to beat.
The Cash+ is offering 15-months at 0%.
Altitude GO is 12-months.
All have no annual fee. Good luck!
I just got Citizens Clear for $14K with no POI or ID hassles.
18 months 0% BT (and purchases, I think).
GL!
