Balance Transfer from NFCU to Apple Card

Is this possible? I just made a largeish purchase with my Apple Card (a Macbook) to get cash back. But it seems folks are having trouble doing BTs from other CCs.I've read that one way around the problem is to have the CC you want to transfer TO issue the money to your bank account via ACH, then just pay your CC bill like normal. But I'm not sure that Navy supports this. Anybody know?

The charge hasn't actually cleared on the Apple Card yet - they still have to do some processing on the order. I'd like to know and clear the balance ASAP since the Apple Card's APR is much higher than my NFCU Platinum MC.

Re: Balance Transfer from NFCU to Apple Card

The Apple Card currently doesn't allow balance transfers, either to or from another CC.

That's sad. Fortunately I had time to cancel my order, then re-order a cheaper refurb with the NFCU CC. Problem solved, as long as Apple doesn't get their wires crossed and ship me two Macbooks.

Re: Balance Transfer from NFCU to Apple Card

If you have a large enough cash advance limit with NFCU, pull the cash from the card and pay off the Apple Card. Will only be 2% more than it would be if you did a BT and NFCU doesn't flinch about people using their cards for cash as long as they pay it back.

That's not a bad idea, but I've already gone ahead and cancelled the payment on the Apple Card. I'll keep that in mind next time I make a large purchase from Apple.
