I charge around 25k a month and PIF. I took a 20k direct deposit from them and put it in my Roth IRA. I have a strong feeling that they profiled me based on the unusual charges, but have to deny it because it is illegal.
Do you have any other cards you can transfer charges unto until this is resolved positively?

Calling EO this afternoon. This is insane. I have been a customer for over ten years with substantial balances in their accounts.
Thats pure insanity... Hopefully you get a positive outcome. I am also glad you have other cards to use. Keep us posted on results after talking to EO.

UPDATE
I called and they said they closed my card because I have "sufficient credit and debt available." Why out of the blue did they close my card. She claims my balances are too high. **bleep**
There's a lot of speculation so far, but I don't think you've addressed the two actual reasons the accounts have been closed.
1. How much credit and debt do you have available?
2. What are your balances?
Other useful info would be income and limits compared with balances on the BofA cards, but you know what the two key issues are. Without some facts, people can do no better than guess.

20% util total. Balance: 40k-- 20k taken from Merrill + card and put into IRA. Other 20k is monthly spending plus other promotional offers. Pay in full most of the time. Income: 545k including all sources.
Thats a small dip in the bucket. There are not telling the real reason for closure which they never do. But I hope you can get it re-opened.

It's a highly suspect closure. Considering a class action for profiling.
Could you explain how this is profiling? I would like to understand it more.

Thats a big statement and lets not get the debate on profilling and lawsuit started. I understand you are very upset and have every right to but call and see what is going on before considering a class action.
