Went from $500 to $2,500. Not sure what was pulled just yet. The only mistake she made was that she read the question wrong, she thought she requested a $2,500 increase to make her total $3,000 but they asked her what she wanted her total to be, which is how she ended up with that number. She's still very happy though with the outcome.
id have her go back and ask for $10k... until they counter to me it means you didn't ask for enough.... I almost always ask for $25k when it comes to CLI depending what bank and what the current line is.... since she was at a smaller line I like the $10k number unless amex then just 3x.
+1...gotta agree with CA, have her call back, they will sitll use the same HP.
So BofA CLI HPs are always TU? I'll request a CLI if so, but I thought they pulled EX.

My last two CLI HP from BofA was TU. 11/1/12 and 7/30/13. I'm in Nor Cal

Thanks. I'm in SoCal, so I'll roll the dice. Only one HP on my TU currently (9 on EX).
How much should I ask for?
I'm at $2,000 on my plain jane BankAmericard (open since 2006), and $4,500 on my Cash Rewards (open since 2011). FICOs in my sig, no negatives on report, etc. Haven't been using BofA much recently---most spend converted to Chase. Salary of $60,000, housing payment of $500.
Just decided to go for it. Requested $20,000 total on the $4,500 card. 7-10 day message. Thought they'd at least counter. Crap.

Call them using the BDN. It's common for them to post the 7-10 day message.
I just did it last night, got the message and called. Voila, doubled my CL to $20k. Card opened last Dec.

Oh, they will! They just have to manually review it first. Keep logging in for the next hour to check your credit line. I'd be very surprised if you don't see an automatic increase to the countered amount.
You guys were right. I just checked, and it now shows $9,600.
Is it worth calling the BDN, considering how little spend I put on it (less than $200 since December)? If I now try for a CLI on the $2k card, is that automatically a second HP, or is there a good chance it will be a single HP?

They will use the same hp for a month. I would call since you already took the hp.
Thanks. Which BDN would you recommend? Any of the bolded ones seem applicable.
