BankAmericard Autopay statement balance?

All my credit cards are set to auto pay, with the option of the most recent statement balance. I just got the Bank of America MLB card, and I'm trying to figure out payments. I can make a "transfer" from my Checking account, or I could use "Bill Pay" for recurring payments. For "Bill Pay", you have to input a payment amount when setting it up. Is there no way to just pay my statement balance every month like every other card I have?

I'm having this exact same issue with my NFCU card.  I think my BOA card can do auto PIF, though. I'll go check.

Re: BankAmericard Autopay statement balance?

So I click on "Bill Pay" and choose "Automatic Recurring Payments" from the drop down, and it lets me set up automatic payments for the full statement balance from any of my "pay from" accounts, which includes an outside checking account I linked.

I cannot find this option for my NFCU card, though.  Everything I can find requires a specific amount to be scheduled.

Re: BankAmericard Autopay statement balance?

I tried to follow your steps, and I still only end up with 2 options under the "Set Up a Recurring Payment" option.

"All payments are the same amount"
"The amount of the last payment should be __"

Although I did find something that I didn't see the first time, that says "Request e-Bill". I'm hoping that's it. It's a new account so I've never done it before. Hopefully once the request goes through and I get the e-Bill, my account can read the statement balance and I get a third option for it.

You can do it if you go under "eBill" instead of "Recurring Payments".   I was using that to pay my statement balance on my BBR prior to this month (I just did a BT and updated to a set amount).

+1

I've also used the ebill feature before.  Not sure about the bill pay though.
