I really hope that my internal limit with Barclays isn't just $2k. Sometimes I really don't understand them.

I think Barclay's is 90 days in between apps. I'm waiting until end of march for my second card. March 31 is the deadline.

Is this accurate? If so, guess I may miss the chance at the US air since I have a Jan barclays app.

That's what happened to me. Call recon and they'll submit the app for you. I got approved last night for 50k offer.

No. Barclay's cant issue new american airlines accounts, so they've used a loophole (i guess) that they can convert all US airways cards to AAdvantage cards, and are heavily pushing the US air card with a 50k/first purchase bonus in the hopes of getting a lot of AAdvantage business.
