Re: Barclay JetBlue Plus 80,000 Bonus Offer

I got a better offer two years ago:

50k/$1k/3 months

+50k/+$5k/1 year

So 100k for $6k spend total.

Not sure if it will return, and that was during COVID, but they may do a holiday promo.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

Here is the historical chart.

That 100k offer has $6k spend.  The current 80k offer has $1k spend.  We received bonus 4 times over the past years....

Re: Barclay JetBlue Plus 80,000 Bonus Offer

JetBlue currently has the following airline partners with which members can earn points:

American Airlines.

Aer Lingus.

Cape Air.

Emirates.

Hawaiian Airlines.

Icelandair.

JSX.

Qatar Airways.

Silver Airways.

South African Airways.

I wonder if one can get those 80k pts then transfer to AA? Problem is I don't fly JetBlue...lol.

You can't transfer airline miles.  But you could book AA with JetBlue points if I'm correct (or working in progress).  There is the alliance.  But I have no need since I have both mile pools.

I think it's more like they throw a few perks to the other's elites, that you can earn miles in your choice of currency, and that you can book some AA revenue flights on the jetblue site/app.

I've never seen AA-operated flights when booking with JetBlue miles.
