Barclay cli hp/sp?

I know if I call the backdoor there is a hp for sure, but I checked the forum and I don't see any mention whether the button is a sp or not. I did use the luv button the same month I opened the card, but there was no hp but that could have been because I had just opened the account.

I don't know if this is necessarily the case for all cards or all situations with Barcays, but my Sallie Mae account's luv button is a hard pull.

As far as I am aware all customer initiated CLI requests, irrespective of the route, are HP with Barclays.

I have a Barclays also.  Their button is a hard pull.

Thank you everyone. I will just wait to see if they give me an auto increase after my next 2 statements.

Re: Barclay cli hp/sp?

I will be hitting my 6th statement with Barclay in three days. I am really hoping for an auto-CLI, as it is not worth a HP in my opinion.

It will be interesting to see if I get the auto-luv. I have PIF before statatement cut every month, my scores have gone up a good 30 points or so in the last six months and I have zero inquiries since opening with them. I would think that I look good to them, however the elephant in the room is that I have only spent about $800-$1000 each month out of my $7K CL. I am thinking they may not give me an auto-CLI since I have only used a fraction of my CL as it is. Anyone else have experience with this?
Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
Sept 2024: EX8: 847; EQ8: 850; TU8: 848 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 821
In My Wallet: Discover $73.7K; Cap1 Venture $51.7K; Amex ED $38K; Amex Optima $2.5K; Amex Delta Gold $18K; Citi Costco $24.5K; Cap1 Plat $8.4K; Barclay $7K; Chase Amazon $6K; BoA Plat $21.6K; Citi TY Pref $22K; US Bank $4K; Dell $5K; Care Credit $6.5K. Total Revolving CL: $300K+
My UTIL: Less than 1% - Only allow about $20 a month to report, on one account. .
