Barclay credit card. Score needed?

Please help me. I want to get a barclays card and I'm looking for there' minimum score for approval as well  as how strict they are with inq, utilization, new credit, ect.

I got approved for $500 with about a 650 credit score, (1) CO, (2) collections, and (2) late payments.

according to fico 08, i had a 626......fico 04 has me at a 701....ymmv they use 08 and i have two cards through them limits and cards are below

I had 2 CO PIF... 4 Collections PIF... 6 INQ... With 641 TU Score.. Barclay gave me a CLI of $500... I was first denied received the denial letter.. Called to recon... Talked to a nice lady... She asked me about my baddies.. I told her that I made bad decisions but I PIF to show responsibility... She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back to tell that all they can do is $500.. I said that I am very gratefull and happy to accept... Then she said that I can try in the future to ask for a increase.... ... So if your CR is in my range U should have a good chance...  I always have my balance at $0... Just to show that I can handle the $500 in a responsible manner.

I got instant online approval after doing the preapproval thing on their website. They pulled TU for me and It was instant $1500 CL and my Fico TU score at time of approval was 635 with a BK that was only 6 months old, tons of new accounts and inquiries, an major derogs. Ymmv thing.... Just depends on the credit file and what else is in there I suppose. I was happy

I tried a while back for a Sallie Mae and they denied me, even after recon. Had a 679 at the time, 1 neg (3.5y old collection for $52), 1 TU inq, and a 2 month old discover. They said they wanted to see more history. When I asked how much the lady told me a year or more.. I'm on the verge of trying again. I just don't want to burn another HP without a TL to show for it

They gave me an Apple and a Rewards card 2 months apart earlier this year back when Fico 08 was still being used: my score was 656 and I had 1 unpaid CO and 2 unpaid CA's on TU...AND, I had less than a year of rebuilding credit...in fact, I STILL have less than a year of building credit and look at my siggy below. Both were instant approvals, no recon needed.

I played the 1-9% game, then applied.

OP can u give us a update on what decision you made about applying for the Barclaycard

Went for the Barclay Apple Financing Card, instant approval for $1700 with a TU around 640, 4 year history, 1 paid collection 2 years old for $140, a few inquiries and recent accounts (2 new accounts in 6 months when approved).

Wish I would have known what I do now about credit. I would've waited, built my credit score up and gone for SM instead.

I went for the barclayscard arrival+ with 10+ inq on TU and less than a year of credit history. I was denied, then i called recon and was asked a few questions and once more denied. I didn't want a HP to go to waste so a couple days later called again. A nice young lady helped me. Asked me why I wanted the card and a few other questions and approved with a $5k CL. Barclays recon have a heart occassionally.
