I currently have a BarclayCard from an Apple purchase several years ago. I use it regularly, but it's currently at 90% of its $3,190 limit. I currently have a TU score of 722 (complete picture of score reasoning below). I have a total of 11 credit cards right now. Do you think I should apply for a 0% card with Barclay? What are my chances? My EQ score is 684 and my EXP is 691. I've brough my utilization from 90% down to 40's% in the last six months. I'd really be looking to BT about $6,000 if I do get approved for a new Barclay.
Aaaaaaaaaa! I just got approved. Thank you TU and BC.
Do not BT 100% of your credit line!
1. It will likely spook Barclay
2. It will crush your score. Anything over 90% is considered maxxed.
Try to keep that utilization below 30% of the new card - $1,800. At least that would be my suggestion.

Thanks Appleman. Yes, I'm only transferring my high interest AMEX Delta card, which is only $1,400. I couldn't transfer my BC Apple card to this one as BC doesn't allow BC to BC transfers. Question, could I call BC analyst and ask them to use my approval for this card to see if my current account can receive a CLI? I've not asked for a CLI in over a year with BC because of the HP. Would they be able to use the pull from this approval?
Cowboys!! Murica's team!
