Barclaycard Denial - Help!

Never applied with them, have not applied for any cards in over 2 years and only one hard pull in the last 1 year and was denied with a 662 TU score.

Any reconsideration recommendations?

What card did you apply?  Can you tell me your history before you call to recon?  What was the denial?

Since I haven't apped for Barclay's, I have no experience trying to recon with them - but did they at least give you the reasons for denial? It helps if you know what you're trying to get reconned.

Reasons on the letter:

* Insufficient credit history

* Low Available credit on existing credit card(s)

* High debt obligation (would home loan effect this?)

And I believe it was the Visa card in partnership with Apple.

How many open credit cards do you have, how long have they been open, and what are the CLs ?

What is your credit utilization? How long is your credit history?

B of A Home Loan - 3 years 213k Bal

Ford Motor - 1 year - 14k Bal

US Bank - 3 years - 3k CL

Frys Electronics - 3 years - 1500 CL

Walmart - 2 years - 800 CL

Orchard - 4+ years - 450 CL

Cortrust - 4+ years - 300 CL

Capital One - 3 years - 300 CL

Oldest accounts (not CC's) are 15 years old.  Not sure what other information would be helpful.
