Barclays Apple Financing Visa - Question

For those of you who have this product. I know initially when you open the account, you hand 21 days to purchase an Apple product to qualify for the no interest program.

Do they occasionally send out more of these offers periodically? I just got a MacBook Air with it and say in six months or so, will they send other 0% offers?

Thanks!

Great - thanks for the info.

Barclays gets a lot of love from me since they've been good to me so soon after my BK discharge.

Re: Barclays Apple Financing Visa - Question

I understand.

Trying to get back to that point, lol.

I do like how they allow you to change your credit limit between the cards. Might do that later on. Depends on what fun stuff Apple comes out with.

Re: Barclays Apple Financing Visa - Question

I have another question about this card, which might be odd...So I got this card on jun 19, but I never used it. I was going to buy an iphone 5s at full price with it becasue I broke my phone, but the representative at the apple store's personality left a lot to be desired, so I walked next door and bought it from ATT... Now I might switch to sprint and buy an iphone 6 and actually take advantage of the 0%. Here is what my problem is, though. I canceled the card and moved the balance over to my barclay rewards about a month ago, so I would have to reapply. what is the likelyhood they would approve something like that, and do they have any policies against something like this? especially since I've opened about 6 accounts since that approval.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, I just don't feel theres a need for a whole new thread on this card.

Thanks

Did you have any derogatory accounts on your credit at the time of applying? May I ask what was the CL they started you off with? I am considering applying for this card myself, I was just afraid my scores were too low.

Re: Barclays Apple Financing Visa - Question

DrDG, I got this card a couple months ago. I actually apped for the Barclay MC rewards for average credit and got that with a $1300.00 limit and then within an hour I applied for this Apple financing Visa and got it with a $1700.00 limit. The app asked me how much I wanted/needed and I checked the box for $1000-$1500 and got $1700.

My TU score at the time was 647, I had a 2 year AAoA  a few 30 day lates from March and April 2012 and a 3 year old collection for $3200. Also had a reasonably high utilization on one or two cards when apped, over 30%. Hope this helps!

Re: Barclays Apple Financing Visa - Question

WOW!!!! That DOES help! Thanks. Let me ask you this...I'm very new to this forum. I dont know all of the abbreviations are and I don't know what hit the "luv" button means. Also, where is everyone applying? Are you going directly to the site or are those links here? Thank you so much for all of your help. This is the best forum ever!
