I called Barclays to PC to the Pricelibne card but was told I had to app directly.
Now i'm stuck with this card and don't see any value in keeping it other than have an extra TL.
Help me find value in Barlays product please. Where's the beef in Barclays Rewards?
I love mine as a starter card but early next year, I'm going to apply for Sallie Mae and Rewards will be permanently sockdrawered (or maybe they'll let me some of the limit to Sallie Mae). I would love to be able to do a PC to SM but I'm yet to find a success story for that.
I think it's really good to build credit as it's easy approval and you do get some rewards.
i had the rewards card and wanted the upromise, applied for it and they allowed me to move my limit from rewards to upromise...call the backdoor number as soon as you apply

Basically this, it is an easy to get card, but with better credit, 2% everywhere cards like double cash are obviously better than 2% somewhere cards like rewards.

It's still a decent card except for the atrocious interest rate past the promo period.
The only reason I hang on to mine is for the TU FICO score.

Thanks for reminding me I do in fact appreciate the free FICO which compliments my Discover scores in between dates.
SDing might be the only answer for Barclays Rewards.
I'm trying to avoid apping for a second Barclayss since all offer such horrible rewards.

The Sallie Mae is good, at least for Amazon/bookstores.
